As in most tourist destinations in southeast Asia, spa and massage is big business in Siem Reap. Establishments range from the large and luxurious, to the small and not so luxurious. All large hotels, and most medium sized hotels, offer some form of in-house spa and massage service. There are a great many of the small massage places almost everywhere you go in town. We have reviewed some of the more upscale spas for you.
You can find many so-called "fish spas" or "fish massage" stands in Siem Reap, with many bearing large fish tanks with seats out on the sidewalk. Some also variously call themselves "Dr. Fish", "Fish Pedicure" and so on.
To enjoy the unique treatment, simply sit on the edge of the fish tank, dangle your legs in the water, and let the small fish nibble the dead skin off your feet. It isn't expensive (from around US$1 a session), with some places offering the first treatment for free. One such spa in Siem Reap that's aptly named and where you can enjoy this fun treatment is on Thnou Street.
