2-Day Mekong Delta Cruise with Mekong Eyes

Cruises & Water Tours

Discover the lush wilderness and lively communities of the Mekong Delta with 2 days amid the rivers and jungle. Visit bustling local markets, dine on exotic fruits and local dishes, and explore the incredible landscape around the waters.

Day 1:
In the morning, ride out to the river and board your comfortable wooden cruise vessel. After a refreshing welcome drink, get familiar with the vessel, and sit down for lunch as the cruise begins. Watch the fantastic scenery slip by and get a look at the daily lives of people along the Mekong.

In the afternoon, you can disembark for a guided stroll through a local village and a look at the fruit orchards or rice fields nearby. Meet friendly locals and taste the local produce before you get back on board, and then have a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent landscape. End the day with a delicious on-board dinner as the boat anchors for the night.

Day 2:
Wake up to the sound of the river and get ready for another exciting day. While you enjoy an early breakfast, a sunrise cruise takes you past locals on the riverside as they go about their daily work, drying exotic fruits or building ships on wooden yards.

After breakfast, board a sampan boat to visit a local floating market, one of the busiest and most lively markets in the region. Marvel at the sheer abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables, and skillfully crafted regional products as the boat pulls up so you can talk and bargain with the merchants. You can also visit local candy and cake-making factories or cruise through the green watery landscape to see local houses, verdant orchards, and ship-building yards.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City with a new appreciation for the lively culture and natural landscape that surrounds one of the world's great rivers.
