Day 1
Get picked up from the Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport and transfer to your chosen hotel to unpack, unwind, and get ready to begin your first excursion. As evening settles in, meet up with your guide and take an introductory adventure in Ho Chi Minh City's vibrant center. Scope out major landmarks from a 3-wheeled cyclo, watch an entertaining water puppet show, and end your evening with a scenic dinner cruise in Bach Dang Port, set to the tune of traditional Vietnamese folk music.

Day 2
Spend the day winding down the waterways and tributaries of the Mekong Delta, where you can see stilt houses, grab lunch in a coconut grove, and watch meticulous gardeners tend to the delicate branches of bonsai trees.

Day 3
Check off Ho Chi Minh City's major landmarks with visits to the '70s-style Reunification Palace, the grand towers of Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Gothic Saigon Central Post Office. Investigate the exhibits at the War Remnants Museum, look for elegant pagodas in Chinatown, and find souvenirs and lunch in Ben Than Market.

Day 4
Dig your toes into the sand at Bai Sau Beach, admire a Buddhist shrine, and savor a delicious lunch with seafood specialties at a locally loved restaurant.

Day 5
Cruise through pastoral landscapes and visit local farms, don an apron for a hands-on cooking class to create your own Vietnamese lunch, and find out how locals harvest rubber from trees. In the afternoon, head underground for a look at the soldier tunnels of Cu Chi, and get the chance to fire a rifle at a gun range.

Day 6
Enjoy another cooking class focused on the flavor difference between northern and southern styles of cooking and take the afternoon to browse brand-name goods at the city's major shopping centers.

Day 7
Do some last-minute errands and have leisure time before you catch a lift to the airport, if necessary.
